What Is Ghana Food Festival?
It is the country’s biggest food carnival that celebrates its traditions and brings together folks interested in food, arts, and entertainment.
When will the event be held?
It will come off on Saturday, 15th April 2023 at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra, Ghana.
What time does the event Start and End?
The event starts at 8: 00 AM and ends at 11: 30 PM (GMT / UTC +0)
How do I get to Efua Sutherland Children’s Park?
The venue is opposite the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City and adjacent to the National Theatre at West Ridge in Accra.
If you’re arriving by public transport from Madina, 37 and its environs, you can get down at Ridge and walk to the grounds. You can also alight at Tema Station in Accra and walk towards Ministries, any person around can direct you to the venue. To be on the safe side, please check the location on Google Maps.
Where Are the Gates into the Premises of Efua Sutherland Park?
The main gate is opposite the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City.

What Do I Need to Know About Leaving Efua Sutherland Park After the Event?
Is the 2023 event a one-off?
Nope. Our event will hold annually. Starting from Accra, it will host in other parts of Ghana.
What are the rules and requirements for Vendors/Exhibitors?
Food vendors must adhere to all requirements set forth by the Management of Ghana Food Festival (GFF) and local regulatory agencies.
Space and Vending Time
- Vendors are permitted to set up only at the space approved by GFF.
- For set up, vendors can arrive from 5 a.m., but no later than 7 a.m.
- Vehicles are not permitted on the ground after setting up is completed or after 8 a.m., unless it’s an approved by GFF as a vending vehicle (Food trucks).
- Vendor vehicles are to park in private or public places outside the venue. The GFF management is not responsible for security of these vehicles and their contents.
The actual length of sale time is 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Food booths/tents must stay open and operational until 10:00 p.m. Vendors ceasing sales before the stipulated time will be banned from applying to future GFF events.
- Vendors can only stop selling if they are out of stock.
Other Information:
GFF expects all food and non-food vendors to observe all these regulations with the GFF project.
- Vendors are required to ONLY make enquiries and bookings via this website, via email at info@ghanafoodfestival.net, or phone at +233(0) 556317400.
- In special cases, management of the company will send staff members to visit vendors to recruit them for the festival; in such an instance they will have an Identification to prove their allegiance to the company. Please do NOT do business with persons purporting to work with us if they do not have staff identification. If in doubt, kindly reach out to us via our contact details.
- A vendor is permitted to sell only legitimate products and services. We reserve the right to terminate a vendor’s application if what they are offering is illegitimate.
- Booking fees are non-refundable.
- All vendors will be provided (1) table, (2) chairs and access to a tent. Vendors must bring extra chairs and tables to accommodate their additional needs. Booths, tarps or any other furnishing or equipment will be provided by vendors.
- GFF provides basic electricity / lighting system, any additional power source or equipment will be provided by vendors.
- Vendors are responsible for their own water supply needs during the entire event (.
- Sales of alcoholic beverages are only permitted to those vendors APPROVED by GFF.
- Vendors authorised to sell alcohol are to scrutinize customers before selling to them. Please do not sell to persons under the age of 18 (this will be at the vendor’s discretion. Please ask customers who you think look younger than 18 to show their I.D), heavily pregnant women, and lactating mothers.
- Vendors should not visit the Kids’ arena at the grounds to persuade children to buy alcoholic products, sell to them or move these products close or near that designated area.
- Vendors are to ensure compliance with fire regulations to prevent accidents and fire outbreaks at the venue.
- Vendors are to ensure that cutleries and other sharp objects are kept in a safe space and out of reach of all attendees.
- Glass containers are permitted and vendors would be responsible for cleaning up broken glass if damaged in their area or by their staff.
- Vendors are to ensure clean and well-kept environment area throughout the entire event.
- No substitution of vendor would be allowed.
- Vendors are mandated not to bring in more staff than they had made a booking for. For instance, a vendor that makes a booking for bronze is required to bring 2 staff. If he/she stealthily brings 3 or more staff, that act would be tantamount to theft, hence the culpable vendor would be stopped from selling at the moment, and he/she would be banned from future GFF events.
- Marketing and Advertising of GFF 2023 is jointly the responsibility of GFF management and the vendor.
- Use of loudspeakers or any other public announcement system is strictly prohibited.
- Organisers of GFF are not responsible for any lost items, theft, injury caused to vendors or their staff and the under sales made during the event.

How do I get free tickets to the event?

Since you’re offering free tickets, would I be required to pay for other things at the event?
Yes. All other extra perks (for example: face painting, polo shirts, and T-shirts for kids and adults, etc.) will be available at affordable rates.
Is My Security Assured For This Event?
Yes! We’re collaborating with the Ghana Police Service and other private security agencies to safeguard the lives and properties of vendors, entertainers, and attendees.
Can I Bring Food And Drinks From Home To The Event?
Nope. Food and drinks from outside are not allowed at the event grounds. Attendees are required to buy from the vendors.
Can I get a Place to Sit and Eat At The Event?
Yes! We’ll erect an eating area- a comfortable shed with a serene atmosphere where you can relax, eat, drink, and make merry with yourself, your friends, family, and other loved ones.
Is there a dress code for the event?
Not necessarily. The company would sell branded attire for the event. Attendees can purchase them locally or internationally by placing an order through our contacts or buying them at the event grounds.
An attendee can wear any attire that depicts the cultural heritage of Ghana/Africa if they are not interested in the above.
Do you make provision for a parking lot?
We have limited space at the event grounds for parking. Unfortunately, this space is reserved for dignitaries and some VIPs. Attendees are to identify private or public parking spaces around the venue for their use. Either way, we’re currently working on arranging parking spaces to accommodate attendees, but it will come at a reduced fee. Kindly contact us early to make a booking if you’d be coming over with an automobile, bicycle, etc.
Does the event accommodate international food and non-food vendors?
Yes, it does. Despite the event targeted at Ghanaian brands, we provide a platform for international food and non-food companies to exhibit their products and services. As a company, we have a better appreciation for global cultures and welcome the opportunity to connect with any international brand that aligns with our objectives.
Would you provide accommodation for people traveling to Ghana for the event?
Nope. The company does not provide accommodation at the moment. But we can help arrange hotels and other lodging facilities to secure a place to stay when you arrive in the country. Hit us up at the earliest here.

Are booking payments refundable?
Nope! Monies paid into our accounts for bookings are not refundable. Please be certain about your decision to make a booking and your package preference before making payment.
Can I make a booking on the eve of the event or D-day?
Nope, we’d have sold out all available Stands by the time you do this. Due to the high volume of vendor bookings, we encourage prospective clients to make bookings at least three weeks before the assigned date of the event. Doing this will also give us ample time to publicise your business on our platforms and provide you with other perks before D-day.
How do I know your company is legit and that I am not being scammed?
Our parent Company, Pen it Multimedia Limited, is a registered business entity incorporated by the Ghana Registrar of Companies under the Companies Act, 1963 (Act 179) in September 2018.
Our Company registration number is CS258622018. As a company, our topmost virtue is transparency and truthfulness. Theft, scamming, or fraudulent dealings are against our code of ethics; we’d not place the relationship we have/want to have with customers/clients and the public in jeopardy.
